The Build Package
You have fully immersed yourself in how you want your space to look, and are now ready to begin the build with Grace & Favour…
The build package is for the homeowner who now has a clear direction of their design and how their space is going to look and is ready to commence the build. We will ensure works are carried out in the correct order, to work around you. Our team consists of high-quality tradespeople for us to deliver your design brief.
1. DETAILED QUOTATION
Now that we have a fully signed off design pack we can begin to build your quotation. This will outline materials / labour and prelims and all our terms are laid out within the quotation giving you complete clarity regarding payment terms and insurances. We will also add a variation folder to your client portal to ensure all changes are captured, costed, programmed in and most importantly costed and agreed before proceeding.
2. PROGRAM OF WORKS
Again based on the design pack and in conjunction with the conversations we have during the design process, our program outlines all the key information regarding start and end dates and key stages throughout the build process.
This will also include payment dates throughout the program and we always allow for you to hold a 5% retainer until you are happy and any snagging has been completed.
3. PRE START MEETING
A key element to the build is ensuring we agree the finer details, access routes into your home for example, agreeing welfare facilities, specific start and end times for us to work so we minimise disruption to your home, if we have to turn the water or electric off is a key one ! Deliveries to site, storage of materials , sign off on key stages, meeting the team so you know who will be in your home. There are so many points to cover which make the pre start meeting key to a smooth and successful build.
The other packages that we offer for different stages of your design journey are the Starter Package and the Design Package.
