Design & Build for your home.

Grace & Favour offer two main services under the Design & Build umbrella:

1. TRADESPEOPLE TO MATCH YOUR NEEDS

If you require a carpenter, plumber, electrician, plasterer or any other trade we can supply these to suit your requirements. These services will be priced specifically to the work required and we can usually quote you within 24 hours. Please contact us here with a brief outline of what you need.

2. End-to-end DESIGN AND BUILD

Design-and-build has many advantages in ensuring a successful completed project when working together as a team. Design-and-build is a trusted construction delivery method that provides a single point of contact for your project.

The Grace & Favour Design and Build team take your design, work with you to work out how best to realise and deliver your project, establish your budget, look at the time required and crucially build up a clear detailed quotation and program for you.

Once approved we then manage and deliver all elements of your project from subcontractors, equipment suppliers, material suppliers, and ultimately take full responsibility for the delivery of your project.

Some frequently asked questions:

Whilst we are not Interior Designers we have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to what is achievable and the order in which works should be carried out.

We also partner with a number of material suppliers to get you the latest materials at the best price and availability. We also partner with a local design agency if 3D visuals are required. We would suggest getting all your images together for the look you want to achieve and we can come and see you to discuss what’s possible.

Yes we can. We have the ability to source any number of products from flooring to bespoke furniture and wall finishes that you may have found online from the leading suppliers at trade prices.

Simply give us a call or drop us an email to discuss. Being organised sounds very simple, but organising tradespeople on site can be a huge task and the order of work is key. One thing we pride ourselves on is the ability to make sure things are done in the right order whilst always minimising disruption to your home.

We believe in winning work by giving the best service at the most competitive prices. Therefore there is no charge for an initial visit to understand your brief and budget. If you do wish to proceed with us then there is a £250 charge to allow us to invest in detailing out the works, survey if required and preparing your budget quotation. If you do wish to proceed then the £250 charge will be deducted from your final bill.

The principles of design and build are based on the customer having one point of contact for every element of their project.

You will have a dedicated Project Manager from Grace & Favour for your entire project from start to finish and we are hands on, we don’t just turn up in a suit and point, we get our hands dirty too !

Grace & Favour carry out the full supply and installation of your project. You will deal with us from start to finish.

We live in an age where people are increasingly time and knowledge poor when it comes to home maintenance. This means they would rather pay someone to do their home improvement jobs around the house than risk doing it themselves and getting it wrong.

Owner
To ensure consistently high standards, John Lewis has established close relationships with only the best trade organisations from each county and has created a council of tradespeople to work in partnership with the scheme. Developing a rigorous recruitment process that includes both an independent review of previous work and an in-depth induction into John Lewis’ customer service standards.“We only accept the best of the best, so it’s a real achievement for a trade business to become part of our team. We stand behind their work with a full 12-month guarantee to our customers, so we’ve got to be sure they’re up to the job.”
