The brief
Our clients in Buckinghamshire wanted to modernise their beige ensuite and main bathroom. They wanted to add colour to these spaces and turn them into wet rooms to suit the whole family. They wanted both bathrooms to be completed at the same time during a small window of time to suit their family life.
Realisation
Concepts for both bathrooms were drawn up and samples were taken to our clients to agree the overall look and feel of each space. Once tiles, paint colours and furnishings had been agreed, both designs were visualised (as seen below) in order for our clients to immerse themselves in what was to come and agree a sign off on all materials. Cabinetry was designed and built bespoke to our clients as they wanted to match the timber beam in the main bathroom with the furniture in that space. We then proceeded to organise all of our contractors, giving the client a schedule of works and a start and end date which was stuck to.

What is your favourite aspect of your new bathrooms?
We love them both! They feel luxurious yet we haven’t had to compromise on practicalities and functionality meaning they work well for the whole family. We particularly like the colour combinations in each and how they have personalities of their own. The quality of the materials used is apparent, especially the bespoke pieces.
Why did you choose Grace & Favour interiors?
We wanted to work with a company who would give us creative ideas and help with the planning of our project to save us time. We liked that the sourcing of all products would be managed, which took the hassle out of this for us! We also liked that Grace & Favour would be with us from start to finish and oversee the whole journey.
What did you enjoy about working with Grace & Favour interiors?
Everyone at Grace & Favour is friendly, honest and reliable. They also have clear communication – we were kept updated at all times, as to who was coming into our house and how long different aspects were going to take. These timings were always stuck to. The tradespeople who came to our house were very respectful and tidy, cleaning up after themselves as they worked. Grace & Favour also managed our budget effectively ensuring that we got to our final outcome within budget! I loved the design packs as they were so useful to see how the new spaces would look before starting and investing in materials. For people who can’t visualise how rooms are going to look – this is just fabulous!
What was the management of your project like?
Communication was effective from start to finish, Grace & Favour were always only a phone call or text away. They were highly efficient in managing lots of different trades and ensuring everything was completed in the correct order with no gaps between each tradesperson. The team are polite, reliable and friendly and they respected our home and living spaces whilst they worked. We would certainly use them again for any other projects in this home or future homes.
